The start of THE ✨IT GIRL Era✨

“I don't have many followers, but I want to work with brands. What should I do?” Being a brand ambassador is more to me than the "free" products because when you post your advertising content for whatever company you collaborate with there is 100x’s more work done behind the scenes. The biggest thing is planning! Planning what you are going to post and when you will post it will help you in the long run although in the moment it does seem like it is a long winded unnecessary process due to finding the dates for things changing around your schedule and even finding things that make you happy to create.

Being unapologetic and authentic in your content is also going to be vital to you. When you are looking to do any deals you need to make sure that the product you are advertising is something you really would use because it would be really embarrassing to have someone ask you about it and you have nothing to tell them. As a dancer my product is seen as my brand but WHO I attach myself to is important to me. Have you ever seen a brand ambassador and you thought to yourself “now girl I know you don’t use this forreal stop the cap!” because I know that I have more than once. Now put yourself in their shoes, How do you think your words can be trusted when you aren't reliable?

I wanted to make sure that my business was official so I took the step of starting my own business only having about $200.00 and knowing I needed to work, negotiate, and borrow to get where I needed and hearing “you should wait” “you in school don’t you want to do that first and finish that” “its a lot of work you should be living your life partying right now” wasn’t helpful but i stood my ground, and a year later anddd I did it, I am the founder and CEO of my own business. Now I didn’t say I did it all by my self not at all I found an amazing business Incfile which help me get my EIN number and set up all the paper work! It eliminated the guess work and hassle of running around to law offices.

Being strong minded will absolutely be what carries you through this process. There will be more times than not that you need to buy things in order to get things as many things in the world and not having the funding is discouraging, but not a huge obstacle. Think about it with an affirmation such as “I don’t chase I attract, what belongs to me will simply find me.” Accountability is the best thing I have personally learned to become friends with as much as she makes me want to kick her ass and, I never knew I needed her. Making sure that you hold yourself to your word is the best way to get things done. I know personally I think of the mantra “If you aren't going to do it for you, than who will” and it has helped me more than I realized before now.

I may not be doing what every other 20 year old is doing in their life right now but I need to put the foundation down so that I’m ready be financially free before I’m the age of 26 max.! I am on spring break right now and I’m going to take the steps necessary to get everything I want this year! Attracting everything I deserve and aspire to have.
